Mamluki Lancet Mosque is a project by some of the most experienced mosque architects in Kuwait, Babnimnim’s team. The design draws inspiration from the rich heritage of Mamluki architecture in Islamic Cairo.

The massing honors both the land’s context and the Qibla direction, showcasing the meticulous attention to spatial orientation which is both typical and necessary of any Islamic architecture firm in Kuwait.

Rooted in the geometry of the Islamic dome pendentive and Moqarnas, the design reinterprets the traditional 45° rotated square, aligning it purposefully with the plot, the Qibla, and the northern sun path for optimal shading.
