Brick House

A four member family house in Yarmouk. The building mass was carefully articulated to avoid a singular block formation.

A set of brick devising wall were added to subdivide the plot into smaller contained masses in order to insure a seamless flow between the spaces as one delves further into the plot. The brick wraps around the masses and creates a screen that both shades the house from the harsh sun and insures the privacy of the residents. The minimal material palette is carried into the interior with the introduction of wood to balance the concrete and red brick used throughout.
